Eric was recently interviewed for an article in USA Today about using nutrition labeling such as NuVal (which we blogged about here)–and then last week we were photographed cooking dinner in our home and while grocery shopping. The story ran today. Check it out if you’re interested! (You have to scroll allll the way to the bottom to see Eric’s quote.

Here is a photo from the actual print version: Front page next to Tebow! Boom.

I use the NuVal system all the time at Hy-Vee and it does make a difference on what I buy occasionally. I don’t really have time to read labels so it’s nice that people have done the work for me. Sometimes I’ll still choose a lower number, but it’s still nice to have the resource!
congrats guys!
Congrats
It’s a really cool article to be featured in!
Congratulations on the recognition! It is always nice to see articulate Iowans featured in national publications.
Congrats! That is awesome!!
Amazing! What an awesome opportunity for you all!
Front page!!! That’s awesome!
So crazy story: my husband, who works in the IT department at Kroger’s headquarters, sent me a link to this article yesterday so I could read about a huge project his team just finished: setting up the back-end IT infrastructure for the stores to properly print and display NuVal labels. He was super excited to read the press his project had gotten. Imagine my surprise when I opened the article and saw a photo of you two! How fun. Small world, I guess.
That’s crazy. We had no idea our photo would be on the front cover!
