Mom's Fruit Salad
In our recent attempt to become healthy and nutritious eaters, I asked my mom for her fruit salad recipe. I don't really know if that's what you call it, but that's what I call it. It's easy, simple and a great way to get more fruit in your body. My mom usually has this made when we visit and recently brought it to share at our gender reveal party.
Ingredients
- 3 bananas
- 3 kiwis
- 1 small can of mandarin oranges, drained
- 1 package of frozen strawberries
- 1 tablespoon of honey or agave nectar
- 2 tablespoons of lime juice or 1 lime
Simply cut up all the fruit, place it in a bowl, mix it up and viola! Fruit salad.
I rationed it into small containers for easy-to-grab snacks and to put in my bag for lunch throughout the week.
