New Office Furniture

We don't technically have an office in our house. We have an old desk inherited from my childhood in our spare bedroom that holds our iMac that we never use. Truth be told, most of our blog posts are written from the comfort of our couch. While I would love to have a decked out office optimized for blogging awesomeness, it's just not in the budget right now. But, sometimes you come across something that you just can't pass up.

A couple weekends ago we decided to take a van full of miscellaneous items to Goodwill, and while we were there we thought we would look around. We are looking for some cool glass jars to make a terrarium. We had no luck with the glass, but I did spot this beauty in the furniture section.

Don't you agree Rooney could do so many activities at this desk in the years to come?

For now this gem sits in our living room. It's a perfect little desk for our living room, if there is such a thing. Rooney has already taken a liking to it.

Someday, when we finish our basement, we have visions of our own little office. Currently we're liking the looks of something like this that Jen (from Jen Loves Kev) made.

I'm not sure how long this will stay in our living room, but for now, I'm really diggin' it.
